Elsewhere, Slowly is a podcast about travelling Canada the long way, by train, ferry, kayak, logging road and on foot. Each episode starts somewhere real, whether that’s a sleeper car on VIA Rail’s Canadian, a ridge in Tombstone Territorial Park, the ferry up the coast to Bella Coola or a mountain on Vancouver Island, and follows wherever that place leads: the people met along the way, the geology and history underneath, the infrastructure and technology we quietly depend on, and the ideas that tend to surface when there’s nothing to do but look out the window.
